How To Rotate the Display or Change Resolution for Elo Kiosks

Objectives

Rotate and/or adjust resolution on an Elo Kiosk terminal.

Prerequisites

  1. Elo Kiosk
  2. Keyboard or remote connection

Instructions

  1. Attach a keyboard (if on-site) or obtain a remote connection.
  2. Get to a shell prompt.
  3. At the shell prompt, type screen_orientation.sh.
  4. The script will show 4 options:

  1. Select which resolution and orientation the customer wants, and press Enter.
  2. The display will change. Press Enter at the next prompt.

  1. Once back at the main menu screen, it will show the new resolution in use. Press the 0 key then Enter to exit the program.
