Reset Pioneer S-Line BIOS to Defaults
Objectives
Reset
BIOS to factory default settings.
Prerequisites
A
Pioneer S-Line or M5 terminal.
A USB
keyboard.
Instructions
If the
terminal is powered on, shut it down and power it off.
Connect
a USB keyboard to the port on the left-hand side of the monitor.
Press
and release the power switch underneath the left-hand side of the monitor.
Begin
pressing the Delete key about once-per-second until you see the
screen that says BIOS SETUP UTILITY at the top.
Note: Be sure that you are pressing the Delete key;
the Backspace key will not work.
Press
the F9 key. A dialog box that says Load Optimal Defaults?
will appear.
Use
the arrow keys to highlight the Ok button and press Enter.
Press
the F10 key. A dialog box that says Save configuration changes
and exit setup? will appear.
Use
the arrow keys to highlight the Ok button and press Enter.
The
terminal will reboot. It should boot up normally and load the application
login screen.
