Warn User on Modes
Two Options for Warning - Sign-In, New Order
If you do not want users to be warned about other modes, set Check Other Modes When Logged In Under Current to ‘No’.
If you do not want the mode to be warned to users, set Warn User to ‘Never’.
Upon loading the touchscreen, the system will check what mode it should be in based on time. If the system is not in the correct mode, a flag is set to warn the user on sign-in or new order, based on the setting assigned.
If you are in the correct mode based on time, the system will check every 15 minutes to confirm that you are still in the correct mode.
If the user chooses ‘Dismiss’, the system will not warn again until the user exits and does a terminal login, changes department, or changes mode.
If the user chooses ‘Change Mode’, the system will change mode similar to the ‘Change Mode’ button but automatically selecting the mode that the system thinks the user should be in.
If the user chooses ‘Prompt Later’, the scheduled job will continue to run and the user would be prompted the next time the action occurs (sign-in or new order) after 1 minute has passed.
