Submit POS-X for RMA

This article will show how to submit a POS-X CPU or Ion 8 Tablet for repair.

 

1. Open up your browser and go to https://www.pos-x.com/support/#rma

2. Under the Support and Repair Requests heading, click the Support Request Form.

3. The form will apear as a drop down to fill in. Enter in the information for the customer.  Please use operations@fullcount.net for the email contact.

4. Once finished, click Submit.

5. Someone from POS-X support will send an email regarding the case. They will try and troubleshoot the issue further with you.

6. Once they are sure that there is a malfunction, they will send you options based on the warranty status. If the unit is still under warranty, here are our options (from POS-X):

  • Standard Repair - Send us the unit, we will repair it. In the event that we could not repair it, we would replace it. The return shipping method is ground, and turnaround is 48 hours (not including weekends).
  • Advanced Replacement - We place a pre-authorization on a credit card, the amount is 70% of MSRP. We ship you a replacement unit with 2-business day shipping. From the time you receive the replacement you have 10 business days to ship back the defective unit. When we receive it then we then remove the pre-authorization on the card.

7. Once an option is selected, POS-X support will process the RMA. *If option 2 is selected (most likely option), you will need the customer to provide a credit card.

8. The defective unit will need to be shipped into POS-X support by the customer, within 14 days after receiving the replacement.
