Secured Print on Canon Printer

Navigate to the Print dialogue in application

Select Printer Properties

For the Output Method select 'Secure Print' from the dropdown

You will be prompted to set the PIN at this point.  If you would like to use the PIN you have previously set, you can select No.  Your PIN settings from previous sessions will be saved.  If you would like to set your PIN each time, then you can select Yes and enter your PIN.

***Note:  The PIN is not associated with any user in the system, so it is possible that two users can assign the same PIN when initiating their print job.  Please be mindful to use a unique PIN value.

If you select 'Yes' on the previous dialogue, you will be prompted to enter your PIN.

Set your PIN or use what is already populated and Click OK

Click OK

Adjust any other settings and click Print

On the Canon Scanner/Printer, select the Print option from the Home Screen

Your Secured Print job should appear on the Print Job screen.  Select your job and then select Start Printing.

Enter your PIN and select OK

Your Secured Print job should now print!

**Please note that the application will revert back to the Default Print Settings if the application is closed and re-opened.  If you would prefer to default to Secured Print each time you will need to adjust the Default Print Settings on your local machine.
