Boot Partner Tech ALFA from USB

Prerequisites

1. USB keyboard.
2. Partner Tech ALFA.
3. Bootable USB device such as a thumb drive with an OS image 7.X.X installer.

Instructions

1. Shutdown the terminal.
2. Plug in the USB drive and the keyboard.
3. Power on the terminal, and press "F11" once every second until a boot device prompt appears.
4. On the list of available boot devices, choose the USB installer in UEFI mode and press enter. This will appear as "UEFI: Name of USB device".


5. A menu with the FullCount logo will appear with 2 options. Choose the option that begins with "Install FullCount..."


6. The installer will run and install the operating system. When it reboots, unplug the USB drive. The drive should now boot with the new operating system.

Note**: If you are installing OS image 7.2.0 then the device will fail to reboot after installation. Long-press the power button to shut down the machine when the screen goes black perpetually. When it boots back up it will have a 7.2.0 image installed.
