Boot Partner Tech A7 from USB

Prerequisites

1. USB keyboard.
2. Partner Tech A7.
3. Bootable USB device such as a thumb drive with an OS image 7.X.X installer.

Instructions

1. Shutdown the terminal.
2. Plug in the USB drive and the keyboard.
3. Power on the terminal, and press "F11" once every second until a boot device prompt appears.
4. On the list of available boot devices, choose the USB installer in UEFI mode and press enter. This will appear as "UEFI: Name of USB device".


5. A menu with the FullCount logo will appear with 2 options. Choose the option that begins with "Install FullCount..."


6. The installer will run and install the operating system. When it reboots, unplug the USB drive. The drive should now boot with the new operating system.

**Note: If the A7 is mounted to a Counter Top Stand with a barcode scanner installed then you'll need to configure the scanner HERE.

**Note: If the printer is not already configured in WinDriver mode, check HERE for instructions on configuring it.
