Restore a Jungle Disk backup on your PC
- Launch Jungle Disk Workgroup on your PC.
- Follow along with the setup wizard to get logged in.
- For the domain, use fullcount
- Enter the username/password
- Configure your backups to the disk with your username tied to it.
- Choose
Restore a computer backup
- Ensure your Drive letters are correct
- Personal drive is K
- Company drive is J
- Techservices
drive is T (tech team only)
- Click Next > through Sync Folders without making any changes.
- The
source location of your backup will be from your old computer's Backup
Vault. Select the computer you've most recently worked on.
- From
the Restore Files screen, click Browse where the tool is asking for a
location to restore the backup.
- From
the Select Restore Directory screen, click on Desktop and from here create
a new folder titled Old Computer (right-click into the empty space -->
New --> Folder). Then click Select Folder.
- The
folder path will appear in the top right. Along the left side of the
screen you will find the C: drive. Expand that by clicking + and
then expand Users as well. Click on your own name and then Add Folder
to Restore. The restoration source and its destination will be clearly
laid out at the bottom of the screen.
- When your Restore files screen looks akin to the one above, click Start Restore. This will likely take quite a few hours to finish.
