Install PuTTY SSH Client

Objectives

  1. Install PuTTY SSH client on your computer.

Prerequisites

  1. A computer
  2. A web browser
  3. An Internet connection

Instructions

  1. Open a web browser, and click on the following link:

    http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/latest.html
     
  2. Search for the section named "MSI (‘Windows Installer’)".
  3. Click on the link to download the MSI installer.
  4. After the download has finished, double-click on the MSI file to start the installer.
