Plan Type Information

Dollars - The balance accrued by this account is spent from the Price of items in price rows. The prices of items will deduct from the plan balance exactly the way you would expect it to using simple subtraction. Any dollar amount that goes over the accrued balance will be billed as an overage.

Points - The balance accrued by this account is spent from an item's Point value in price rows. This is most often used for accounting items/meals that reidents are allowed per period. The dollar value of items will be allowanced under the plan but will have no effect on the plan balance accrued. The price value of the accounting item will be the amount that is billed as an overage.

Meals - The balance accrued by this type of account will be deduct by one for each allowanceable item that is closed on account. Allowanceable items with no value assigned to the price field will deduct a meal from this plan the same as an item with value would; one allowanceable item/transaction will always deduct one meal. Once the plan balance has been exhausted, the value of each item bought thereafter will be billed as an overage.

  • per day - The plan value is accrued each day and these balances are independant of each other.
  • per day/period - The plan value is accrued each day but the balances add up into a total for the period that depends on how many days are in the period. ex: $10/per day/period will give you $300 to spend in April but will give you $310 in May.
  • per half year - The plan value is accrued every 6 months.
  • per month - The plan value is accrued every month.
  • per quarter - The plan value is accrued every quarter.
  • per year - The plan value is accrued once every year.
